A commission by 
of my own kaiju based on the male Strepsiptera.
For those who don't know, the Strepsiptera or "twisted wing parasite" is a parasite that lives within a variety of insects. The females remain within hosts, releasing pheromones to attract males. Males live up to five hours and solely exist to mate with the female. Once the larva grow large enough, they eat their mother from the inside out and are released through her "brood canal" in order to find new hosts.
